I guess it's not Halloween anymore so...

...I'd better update this. Here are some more recent pics.

Bailey loves her hat and "minutes" as she calls them. She wants to put them on every time we go out and then asks to see herself in the "mirrs" (mirror). So cute.

To say she keeps us on our toes is an understatement. She has an endless amount of energy and is full of spunk. She prefers to run instead of walk, and jump instead of sit. She dislikes being confined to car seats, highchairs, our arms, etc., and when she sets her mind to something she can be quite stubborn. We hope this trait comes in handy for her LATER in life. Meanwhile, she frequently wears us out. :)

Example: We had our ward Christmas party last week, and were pretty excited for her to see Santa since she has just figured out who he is. She was one of the first in line, but surprising to us, when it was her turn, she was so scared and wanted nothing to do with him except to get a piece of candy.

Before we got out of the room though, she changed her mind and broke free to run back up to check him out. I went and grabbed her since there was a long line and she proceeded to throw the biggest tantrum. I eventually had to haul her out of the room tucked under my arm kicking and screaming. KR and I tried hard to calm her down in the hall and I was perfectly willing to let her go back once the line had gone through- since it's Santa and he only comes once a year!! But after quite a few long and embarrassing minutes of us trying to get her to stop screaming and thrashing around, we had to take her out to the car and call it a night. She cried all the way home and we felt so bad but we were so frustrated too. That night she even woke up in her sleep crying, "Santa, Santa!" Maybe next year.

She looks forward to when Daddy comes home from work each night so she can get tossed around, chased, and have a tickle party with him. Bailey loves nursery and if only we could make it through Sacrament meeting, church would be a breeze. It's a good thing she is so cute and funny, and makes us laugh every day. She has quite the little vocabulary already and amazes us with what she says sometimes. We just look at each other like, "Did you teach her that?" or "I didn't know she knew that word!" She is starting to put sentences together and can go on and on at times about who knows what. These days she also loves singing, hiding, playing with dolls, watching Caillou, and making herself dizzy!

It's been a while since I've blogged about my other kids too :) Allie spent most of the summer and fall days laying in the raspberry bushes out back, so despite being cooped up lately, she is doing well. Brother has seen better days, however. He has been sick for months and has become quite skinny for his large cat frame (he has lost about as much as Allie weighs). Last week we were told it was most likely cancer, but since then, tests have shown it may be something still serious but less terminal so we are hopeful he will make a complete recovery.

Today I am 28 weeks along with baby girl #2! People find it surprising that I still have almost 3 months left when they look at the size of this bump! I'm pretty sure I was this big at 9 months with Bailey. Where will I "grow" from here? Ay yi yi!



And last but not least, KR is doing great too. He's been working hard and flying whenever he can. He has enjoyed taking advantage of the snow we've had to go skiing a few times so far this season. We are looking forward to the rest of the holidays and getting to have him home a little more. Guess that's all for now! Didn't plan for this to sound like a Christmas card...but it does... so Merry Christmas!
